Important Safety Information
Enclomiphene is a selective estrogen receptor modulator (SERM) used off-label to treat men with secondary hypogonadism (low testosterone caused by inadequate signaling from the brain). It helps stimulate the body’s own natural testosterone production while preserving fertility, unlike traditional testosterone replacement therapy (TRT).
Enclomiphene is not FDA-approved but is prescribed off-label under the supervision of a licensed healthcare provider.
Do not take Enclomiphene if you:
- Are allergic to enclomiphene, clomiphene, or any other ingredients in the medication.
- Have liver disease or a history of liver dysfunction.
- Have a history of hormone-sensitive cancers such as prostate or testicular cancer.
- Have unexplained vision problems or visual disturbances.
Warnings and Precautions:
- Enclomiphene may cause vision changes. Stop taking the medication and notify your doctor if you experience blurred vision, flashes of light, or other visual disturbances.
- May increase testosterone and estradiol levels; routine blood work is required to monitor hormone levels and ensure safety.
- Use with caution in individuals with a history of blood clots or at risk for thromboembolic events.
- Not approved for use in women, children, or adolescents.
